Prevention of diabetic foot complications can be done with comprehensive foot care. Community nursing care can use preventive-promotive efforts without ignoring curative in preventing foot complications in people with diabetes. One of the efforts that can be done by community nurse to prevent foot complication is by doing preventive activity through early self management interventions (Es-Mager). This study aims to determine the decrease of risk of foot complication in people with diabetes through Es-Mager intervention in Curug Cimanggis Depok. The design of this study used quasi experiments without comparison groups, data collection was performed with total sampling with a sample size of 42 respondents with diabetes in adult aggregate. The Es-Mager Intervention is administered from October 2016 to April 2017. The results of this intervention show that there is a decreased risk of diabetic foot complications. The Es-Mager Intervention can be a reference and reference of intervention as a promotive and preventive effort for community nurses to prevent diabetic foot complications.
