abstract = "On-grid existing power system in East Sumba is dominated by diesel generator. Sumba Iconic Island program meet the renewable energy development to provide 95% electrification ratio use renewable energy sources by 2025. HOMER software used to optimize the Cost of Energy and Net Present Value of the power system, include the detail type of power plant. The existing Waingapu Power System with the main diesel generator as the first model is optimized and second one is adding the wind turbine power plant as SII program. The optimal result proposed to provide the power system adding renewable energy source as suitable as more economist than the existing diesel generator.",
