Abstract
ESR measurements have been performed in double chain system NH4CuCl3 at room temperature under magnetic field up to 1T and at frequency 9.47 GHz. It is reported that the line width ΔHpp shows anisotropy when the magnetic field direction is varied with respect to a-axis, while it is isotropic with respect to the b-axis. The values of ΔHpp are very small compared with the sweep width of the measurements. These facts indicate that NH4CuCl3 undergoes weak broadening caused by antisymmetric exchange interaction. It is also considered that the broadening is due to Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction.
