N2 - BAKTI in collaboration with PT. XYZ as a capacity provider in USO Project using High Throughput Satellite technology, namely Telstar 18 Vantage with satellite orbit at 138 degrees east longitude. In the USO Project, PT XYZ used 12 Ku-band spot beams to cover all regions of Indonesia. PT. XYZ has a total capacity of 1,314 MHz in the Forward direction and 625.2 MHz in the Return direction for 12 (twelve) spot-beam. USO Project Provision of Satellite Capacity, there are two types of services provided, namely Internet access with an aggregate bandwidth of 2 Mbps and Backhaul BTS with an aggregate bandwidth of 8 Mbps. However, for Access Internet services such bandwidth is not the bandwidth CIR (Committed Information Rate), because the bandwidth allocation for Access Internet service is the available capacity after the capacity used for the Backhaul BTS service. In fulfilling the needs of Internet access and Backhaul BTS services, Out-route on each spot-beam divided into 2 (two), for Internet Access service and Backhaul BTS with Out-route division which is 50% of the total out-route capacity to out-route one (Access Internet service) and 50% of the total out-route capacity to out-route two (Backhaul BTS service). Because of these problems, proper network sizing is needed based on existing data and requirements. If the calculation of network sizing is not right then it can cause some impact. For example, is not fulfilling the minimum bandwidth in each service that has been determined by BAKTI and the link is not stable. Therefore, network sizing is needed so it does not result in sizing out-route that is not by following in under the required capacity. The flexibility of the research is expected to provide appropriate network sizing so that the available capacity can be utilized to the fullest.
