Abstract

Immunomodulator had a role in improving function and restoring the balance of the immune system. Research of immunomodulatory activity had been conducted and studied. Mimusops elengi leaves, Averrhoa carambola leaves and Curcuma xanthorrhiza rhizomes were mixed. The herbs were processed into a particle size. Various tests were performed to 5 groups of -white male rats. They were divided to the normal group (without treatment), positive control group induced with Imboost and 3 groups induced with various dose of herbs extract. The research showed mean total serum protein for regular group, the positive control group, dosage 1, 2, and 3 groups 8.56; 9.26; 9.71; 9.74 and 9.74g/dL, respectively. For a number of white pulp in the spleen, normal group, positive control, dosage 1, 2, and 3 groups resulted in 29, 27, 26, 27, and 20, respectively. These results indicated regulation with an inflammatory reaction. The mixed herbs extract developed its immunomodulatory activity after inducement.
