title = "Design and Analysis of Fiber-To-The-Tower Network in the Cipulir Shopping Center Area",
abstract = "The growing human need for data and information is an impact of the rapid use growth of the internet. Backhaul and fronthaul are network links used to carry data between network components in telecommunication networks. In most cases, telecommunication carriers' backhaul networks in Indonesia still use microwave signals with limited capacity, are subject to environmental interference, have significant latency, and cover a short distance. Fiber-To-The-Tower (FTTT) can compensate for microwave-based backhaul networks' drawbacks to boost transmission speed via fiber-optic communication. This research proposed an FTTT network design and analysis on the Cipulir Shopping Center Area. The design analysis is performed using the parameters of the link power budget, rise time, required components and prices. The total rise time value of the designed FTTT network is 0.254 ns, which is still below the maximum rise time, which is 0.29 ns. The attenuation value of one FTTT network tower based on the link power budget analysis is 19.5905 dB. The calculation results show that the proposed network meets the required parameters to implement the designed network.",
