Abstract

The wavelet transform has become a tool and popular in many applications including in image processing, especially in removing noise from images. This paper presents a modified Donoho's thresholding for denoising images. The simulation results showed that modified thresholding is superior in term of PSNR compared to Donoho's thresholding.
