Abstract
This article is made for the purpose of introducing a situational approach crime prevention model. Despite many books have explored the defensible space theory, none have elaborated that concept satisfactorily. This theory is tested in preventing crime occured in housing areas, especially the ones which are residenced by homogenous and cohesive group of people. This theory may also beneficial to be applied relating areas which are heterogenous but having opportunity to create a collective effort based crime prevention.
