N2 - In order to assist decision-making especially in referrals by using a Decision Support System (DSS), in this case with ECG (Electrocardiography) as the frequently utilized equipment by Primary Care Doctors, as the forefront of the National Social Security System (SJSN) implementation. The objective of this research is to produce a piece of software in the form of a Decision Support System for ECG equipment that can be utilized and be beneficial for Primary Care Doctors in helping them make better decisions to facilitate the referral system and prevent late referrals. The research stages consist of a System Analysis and Design, followed by the Creation of a Software Prototype as a Decision Support System that can help provide a general view of the conditions, whether normal or abnormal, and can subsequently suggest whether a referral is needed. The method of research is quasi-experimental research design, post-test only without control. This research results in a document of Analysis and System Design and software prototype in the form of a Decision Support System for ECG have tested by programmer. It is suggested to test by cardiologist for medical knowledge requirement.
