Abstract
Introduction: Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) partially or totally for some of the most severely affected areas. As with other countries that are equally affected and impose restrictions on the activities of their citizens, the Government of Indonesia also prohibits the implementation of mass and crowd activities. Gradually, the local government has also closed access roads to and from outside the city, and even the alleys of each community unit area are locked and chained together with notification of the status of activity restrictions, which are overall aimed at suppressing the spread of this virus. Almost all activities in daily life such as studying, working, communicating, and even shopping can now be done from home using a smartphone or laptop. This certainly has a significant impact on the socio-cultural life and lifestyle of the community. Objective: This article aims to conduct a literature review study about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the socio-cultural and lifestyle of the community. Methods: This study uses a literature review method with a narrative review approach. Articles are obtained from database searches such as Google Scholar, Elsevier, National Library, Pubmed and Biomed Central. The criteria for the articles used in this study were selected based on the inclusion criteria that have been made by the researchers, namely Indonesian and English-language journals from various countries. Results: Based on the study of several studies in this study, during the Covid-19 pandemic there have been significant socio-cultural and lifestyle changes, especially among Covid-19 survivors. Diana et al., who stated that there is discrimination for COVID-19 survivors. Discrimination related to COVID was reported by 16.58% of respondents who took an online survey in Canada. Non-white respondents, health care workers and younger participants were more likely to experience discrimination than white respondents. With regard to lifestyle, the dietary patterns of the youth who participated in one of the studies mentioned that dietary patterns have changed significantly during the COVID-19 lockdown, with heterogeneity being observed at different levels between genders and across education. The use of information technology, especially social media, is increasingly massive as well as new patterns of habits that must be adopted quickly by all levels of society which significantly affect the overall pattern of life. Conclusion: Coronavirus has increased fear among people all over the world which directly affects all socio-cultural dimensions such as education, economy, inequality and domestic violence, culture, religion, risk perception and one's suicidal activity. Not only socio-cultural but also lifestyle changes during the pandemic. The PSBB policy has had many impacts on people's lifestyles, especially the perspective on physical and mental health during the pandemic.
