Abstract
This research aims to explain how the conflicts of forced marriage in novel Katresnan. This research uses a theory which submitted in the book of Panuti Sudjiman entitle Memahami Cerita Rekaan 1988 it presents an analysis of interrelationships of the structural elements of the story including plot, character-placement as well as the setting for a theme. This romance themed novel tells abaout conflict between children and parents. These conflicts occur because the thoughts of parents and children are not aligned with.
