Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the use of smart city system support by local governments in Indonesia to combat COVID-19. The research used web- and device-based systems that provide data to the public and for decision-making. The research compared the smart city systems of selected local governments: Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Jogjakarta. However, there are six provinces in the Java islands that provide this in Indonesia. The results show that provinces with strict procedures and that make proactive efforts can better mitigate the spread of COVID-19, and data transparency results in people being more aware of COVID-19 and trying to avoid it.
