Business process model of e-Hajj in Indonesia

Abstract

Hajj is the pillars of Islam after the shahada, prayer, zakat and fasting. Hajj is an annual ritual performed by a capable Muslims (material, physical, and physiological) by visiting and praying some activities in several places in Saudi Arabia during Hajj season. For decades, there was always problems in every pilgrim seasons. To overcome the problems, the use of information system could be considered as solution, it may make the pilgrimage becomes organized and transparent since it connected to electronic systems and integrated. This system is called 'e-Hajj'. In this paper, we present the process model for e-Hajj System in Indonesia for the perspective of Government, Citizen and Business. The process model includes e-Hajj stakeholders such as e-KTP system, SISKOHAT, Immigration, Bank and Ministry's system. We use UML to depict the e-Hajj process model and develop prototype to validate the model.
