Abstract

Necrotizing otitis externa (NOE), an infection involving the temporal bone and adjacent structures, poses a high risk of life-threatening complications. The disease occurs mostly in immunocompromised patients. In this paper, we reported a case of a 5-year-old patient presenting with bilateral NOE and hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).
