The way the candidates trying to seek the constituents' vote is more likely with how a company trying to promoting its products to the consumers. Fundamentally, there are some differences approaches between candidates as challengers or as an incumbent. As an incumbent, the candidate must be able to maintain his/her governance performance and / or offering advanced programs of their program at the present. One of the common parameter that is used to assess incumbent's performance is through what is known as the approval rating, i.e the level of public satisfactory with the current government performance. Generally, the approval rating of an ongoing government will have a linear correlation with his/her electability / re-elected in the next election. However, what is happening in Jakarta is contrary.
