Abstract

This literature review evaluate approach in measuring retail units' visibility in commercial building. Retail visibility has been stated as a factor that affected retail value. Researches about the effect of visibility to retail value have depended on personal assessment or associating the visibility with the width of shop front therefore the researches that have been done could not accurately quantify visibility. In order to evaluate approach in measuring retail visibility value, we discussed a literatue in experimental psychology. The literatures give this review a parameter how an object could be said as visible. The literature about the determinant of retail value will give a big picture that the width of the shop front couldn't be a visibility proxy.
