Abstract

Indonesian Government concerns on energy security and independency as driven factors for National development. Some policies had issued to support findings about Potentials of New and Renewable Energy, i.e. by developing biodigester. Generally, biodigesters are large so they are not easy to move or permanently in place. The type of biodigester developed is portable biodigester which is small and easy to move so many people simple to use it. It is necessary to analyze technical and economic feasibility by setting some scenarios, on supply side that is availability of cow' manure and on demand side that is the need of cooking gas and daily basic electricity. Based on those analysis of NPV, IRR, PP and BC Ratio, the first scenario of simulation which is basis design of portable biodigester to fulfill cooking gas had sourced from one cow's manure is the optimal and the most profitable one. It produces 2,247 m3 biogas every day and results in positif economic parameter values which are Rp3.431.947 of NPV, 32,30% of IRR, 2,70 year of PP has achieved and 1,78 times of BC ratio based on price and cost' reference. That basis design of portable biodigester is still feasible to be applied if change occurs up to 70% increase in price of drums that took the largest portion of biodigester' installment cost.
