Abstract
Introduction: The construction work for the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Railway Project is very complex, making this work a high risk of danger. It is important to pay attention to safety performance to control the risk of these dangers. Objective: This research aims to analysis of safety performance in the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Railway Project section 3 PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. Method: The research method is a descriptive analysis using secondary data and literature studies. Data was obtained from the HSE database of the Jakarta Bandung High-Speed Railway project section 3 for 2019-2021, which consists of HSE level, 5R level, and RCA level. Result: Based on the results of the secondary data review, it is known that all HSE level assessments (min. score 820) have achieved the company's expected targets, however if we look at the 5R level score (min. score 860) and RCA level (min. score ≤ 2.4) it is found that the the number of accident precursors in the form of unsafe actions & conditions found in the field. Negative comparisons between HSE level scores with 5R levels and RCA levels can occur due to several factors, including the accuracy of assessment results and worker participation in safety programs. Conclusion: Management commitment is needed in determining safety performance in the company. To harmonize the results of safety performance achievements in this project, company management is advised to increase intervention through organizational factors and consider human, work and environmental factors, as well as evaluate the results of the safety management system assessment.
