Abstract

Diffuse alopecia in children can have many differential diagnoses. The clinical establishment can sometimes get confusing. Here we present a girl patient with a history of osteogenesis imperfecta came with diffuse alopecia. She also has a habit of pulling or plucking her hair. Dermoscopy can be used to identify morphological structures that are not clearly visible to the naked eye and make diagnosis easier.
