Abstract

CNS/ATM (Communication, Navigation and Surveillance / Air Traffic Management) is an integrated telecommunications standard in the world of aviation. This system is designed to integrate different mode of both existing and legacy aviation telecommunications system of Air-to-Ground and Ground-to-Ground as a whole. ATN, which is part of the CNS / ATM is planned to be immediately used in the Asia Pacific region, including Indonesia, in 2015. In this research, we will introduce a proof of concept prototype of building affordable and easy to implement ATN Infrastructure over IP Based Infrastructure by using Tunnel Mechanism. This research is continuation of our previous researches in building an Open Source ATN Protocol Stack on the top of Linux Kernel 2.6.x. The result of this research will be implemented on an embedded System On Chip (SOC) board Raspberry Pi and also will be ported to work with Linux kernel 3.x.
