Abstract

The increase in online food shopping activities along with the development of technology has led to an increase in the amount of single-use packaging waste. There are still a few people who are willing and aware of buying food products with environmentally friendly packaging through the use of food delivery services through the GoFood online application. The application and development of biopolymers has attracted attention in the food packaging industry, so an acceptance model is needed that can illustrate the acceptance of the use of biopolymer packaging in food shopping delivery through the GoFood application. using the theory of planned behavior approach by adding environment knowledge, environment concern and willingness to pay variables. the hypothesis was tested using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the help of PLS SEM and SPSS AMOS software. from the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that environmental knowledge has a positive effect on environment concern, attitude has a positive effect on green purchasing intention, willingness to pay has a positive effect on green purchasing intention, and green purchasing intention has a positive effect on green purchasing behavior.
