Abstract

Hybridization is one of the common approaches in modification of the conjugate gradient (CG) method. In this paper, we propose a new hybrid CG parameter and compares its efficiency with the other hybrid CG methods. Their performance is analyzed under the exact line search. The new hybrid CG method satisfies the descent condition and support the global convergence. Based on the test of the problem being tested, the results show that the new hybrid CG has better than other hybrid CG methods.
