Laboratorium Geofisika Eksplorasi adalah fasilitas yang dirancang untuk mendukung penelitian, pendidikan, dan pelatihan dalam bidang geofisika eksplorasi, yang mencakup metode-metode geofisika untuk investigasi bawah permukaan guna mendeteksi sumber daya alam maupun geoteknik dan lingkungan. Ruang lingkupnya adalah eksplorasi minyak & gas bumi, mineral, geotermal; investigasi air tanah dan kontaminasi lingkungan; studi geoteknik (stabilitas tanah dan fondasi); mitigasi bencana kebumian.
